How to Use Jupiter Swap on Solana

Learn how to use Jupiter, Solana's leading DEX aggregator, to get the best prices when swapping tokens, including advanced features like limit orders and DCA.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

Navigate to jup.ag and click Connect Wallet. Select your wallet provider (Phantom, Solflare, etc.) and approve the connection request.

Step 2: Select Token Pair

Choose the token you want to swap from (usually SOL) and the token you want to receive. Paste the contract address for meme coins not in the default list.

Step 3: Set Swap Parameters

Enter the amount to swap. Adjust slippage tolerance based on token liquidity. Review the route Jupiter will use to optimize your price.

Step 4: Review Price Impact

Check the price impact percentage before confirming. High price impact (above 3%) indicates low liquidity and potential issues selling later.

Step 5: Confirm and Execute

Click Swap and approve the transaction in your wallet. Wait for the transaction to confirm. Check your wallet balance to verify the tokens arrived.
